On Monday I went into the printshop to work. Satisfied with the etching, I wanted to print on the final paper. My image kept coming out too soft even though it was pretty black on the proofing paper. In some occasions I think the paper had become too dry. I belatedly realized that maybe I should change the pressure. I made the press tighter and, of course, got better images. This was on my last two sheets of paper and one was too dirty to use. I will have to buy more paper and go in again sometime this week.
My spring break has gone by very fast, but I think I have been productive enough. I can't be working all the time. It's okay to rest sometimes. I need to remember that.
Yesterday I bought frames and set up my pieces for tomorrow night. Things look so much more important behind glass! If you are available you should come. Details are on the right. I think it will be fun. I am showing Body, Hair pulling print, and The distortion of my Legs parts I, II, and III (Which is a new one I made yesterday).
I just now discovered that I can listen to radio stations on iTunes. I am listening to Technicolor Web of Sound: 60s Psychedelic Web Radio. It is good - I only wish we had a sub for these speakers.
