Work in progress

I am so excited about this linocut I am working on that I brought it home from the shop to post on here even though it is still very wet. I want a black line but did not want to have to carve out everything but the line from the linoleum. So I carved out the line, printed flat blacks, and then printed the image in white. I wasn't sure how well it was going to work. I had my doubts.

As you can see, it looks very very nice and I am tremendously pleased. I think the texture suits the image quite well.
