So I am working on the Joint Custody Project LA through Found Gallery in Silver Lake. It involves blind collaborations between artists in Los Angeles. Partners exchange a piece back and forth through the month of June without (verbal) communication.
I am Partner (Collaborator) A. I had to start the project. My contribution was due today. I turned it in. I am tremendously excited because besides being a great opportunity, it is just plain old fun! I cannot wait to receive the piece back from my partner.
The opening reception is July 5th and I will get to meet my partner there.
I don't want to say too much here. I hope I gave my partner some interesting things to work with!
Today Stephanie - who is organizing Welcome to Catharsis - and I canvassed Echo Park with flyers. It was fun. The flyers are stickers! The event is June 15th at Union Station - you should come!
