Wednesday

So guess what? I'm finally sick. The smoking (I've quit, I'm done!), the drinking, the partying, and the couch surfing have all caught up with me and I've come down with a bit of a cold. This is the part where he would tenderly attend to me - he loved me most when I was helpless and my attitude tempered by illness. More strongly than ever I contemplate calling him, long for his company and his care. But I am no longer his responsibility, I am responsible for myself. I feel quite capable, with the aid of Zicam, extra sleep, and - of course - plenty of fluids, I think I will recover quickly. My life is just too active to stall with sickness!

I have had a rad job interview experience this week for a position I really really want and think I would be excellent at. I am sworn to secrecy regarding, but let me just say, it'd be pretty sweet. It's like suddenly everything has opened up and there's light shining on new horizons revealing new paths and new options. Wish me the best of luck and as I prepare to wade into the velvety waters of sleep tonight, wish me good health as well.

Tonight I'm foregoing Not The Government to hopefully recover enough to see them tomorrow night at the Echo Curio with my ladies VOICEsVOICEs. Surely this is fate.

I can't stay away too long. Just look what I'd be missing!
