But what good does a story on the news do us?
We must go to people and we must move them with our humanity.
We need organization.
I will tell you in confidence that I feel a destiny upon me. But it is such a long journey, and if I do what I feel I must, I will never rest. In some ways I wish life could be as it was before November 4th. Sometimes I want to turn my back on it.
But when I am among people, I grow genuinely fearful, fearful of the strangers around me. If they knew what I am, what would they think? If they really knew who I am, what would they think?
But the ugly face of ignorance and discrimination confronts me.
I will kiss its lips until it loves me.
I look forward to making my enemy my friend.
For now, however, we gather our strength. Here is a pretty comprehensive list of planned events.
Before you go out there, please take a moment to read this. We must operate with dignity and with grace if we are to succeed.

In other news, it is the weekend!
And so you are cordially invited to the following events:

Be good. Be safe. Love well.
See you Monday!
