Preparing for a mountain bike ride, I had to switch my hybrid tires out for my knobby ones.
Changing a tire is not a particularly daunting task, but it does require some attention to deal, especially when it comes to installing the tire labels on the correct side (Facilitates the correct direction of the tread).
I decided to change the rear tire first, since the front tire would be much more rewarding after dealing with the chain on the rear.
After huffing and puffing over the rubber and the pump, I went to nestle the axle into the rear dropouts only to discover that, despite my best efforts, I had still installed the tire incorrectly.
I grumbled to myself and sat back down, deflating the innertube.
Oh well, more practice.
