Monday: Photos: Party Girls, Inc

This Saturday was only Party Girls, Inc's third installment, but it's obvious that this event night has a bright future ahead of it. Taking place at Senor Fish in Little Tokyo, Party Girls, Inc might be just what you're looking for if West Hollywood's Truck Stop is a little too shiny and slick for your taste (And if you're trying to avoid the straight guys who hit on you there).



Normally free or five dollars, the Party Girls spiked admission to ten dollars over the weekend to accommodate a full DJ set from J D Samson of Le Tigre and GLTBQ fame. To make up for it, however, they offered one drink ticket per guest - and that's pretty keen.

Samson spun a delightfully colorful mix of dance favorites, and somehow read my mind and played the Calvin Harris remix of the Ting Tings' "Great DJ" (I'd been thinking of the song all day and even played it for myself at home, so imagine my delight!). Or maybe it was a not-so-subtle declaration (One I would not disagree with!).



Nestled in Little Tokyo right across the street from the Geffen, Senor Fish offers a full bar, light food, and a smoking patio. Free street parking is easily available if you're an experienced Los Angeles driver, but a lot next door offers six dollar convenience.

The crowd was there to dance and have a genuine good time, and even Lady GaGa was in attendance.
