One of those adventures included discovering just how small this world really is after all when chance - or maybe fate! - placed me at the dinner table of new friends and sent me off on an a rather auspicious evening.
I saw VOICEsVOICEs at Mr T's Bowl, managed to sprout some networking opportunities, and came home to a welcoming embrace from someone I'd been missing.
I also learned that VOICEsVOICEs has been working on a surprise for you! It involves a David Bowing cover, but of which song I cannot reveal! That will be for you to find out!
Saturday's art show turned into an experiment with excellent results. It felt good to show work again, especially since I'd begun to doubt my talent, skill, and passion. I feel reunited with some long lost lover, and folks' positive appraisal of my work has certainly encouraged me! First Time LA puts on monthly shows in a really neat space. They told me they'd love to have me back.
I think I might do just that.
