Tuesday: Photos: Photobooth experiments

All of your positive energy must be working because while my throat is still bothering me, it is manageable, and I expect a full recovery by the end of the week. Dinner with my parents certainly helped, where I was treated to sushi.

So I have gathered all the pieces of my photobooth and have been having fun playing with it. I initially had only myself to experiment on, but then I found myself a willing participant. I have to figure out what to do about that lens flare, but I have some ideas.

Portrait photography is certainly a different way of thinking, and I think I like it. I love taking a beautiful photo, but more than a beautiful photo, I like a photo that captures a certain look, a certain gesture, a certain startling revelation caught as an insect in amber to age in a golden light.

Also I just like being silly.
