Monday: Come down through the looking glass

Wow.

Saturday was amazing.

It turned out better than I could have ever hoped and for that I have all of you to thank.

Thank you thank you thank you to The Great Entity, The Studiofix, and Taffy Davenport for lighting up the night with their talent.

Thank you thank you thank you to all the fabulous artists who contributed work to the show - your pieces helped bring the theme together.

Thank you to Friendly Venture for all of his help, and - most importantly - all of his reassurance the night of that everything would be fine (And it was - it was better than "fine!").

Thank you to a couple of other dear friends who also assisted me throughout the night (Don't know if you guys want to be mentioned here - let me know if you do)...with things as simple as reminding me to eat, smile, and enjoy myself.

And thanks to all of you we have a small donation (Every little bit counts!) to make toward relief efforts in Haiti! I'm still figuring this part out - as I want the donation to count as much as possible - but I will let you know as soon as I have the details!

I learned a lot about throwing events this weekend. And despite the moments of anxiety, I think I'm hooked, and ready to do something even bigger & better.
