Since Monday was Labor Day and all, I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for all the work my parents have put into me. I may not be everything they hoped for, but I am a good, kind, hard-working person, and I have to thank them for instilling these values in me. I may not always get along with them, but without them, I would not have been able to come as far as I have.
I've been a tumult of emotions recently, which may or may not be lunar in nature, but I am determined to confront each obstacle with positivity and optimism.
Maybe I am not as comfortable as I once was, but I am certainly happier.
And anyway, these hardships are only going to make me

Liz, you're what we had hoped you would be- even more. You can go as far and fly as high as you want to. Continue to believe in yourself and the possibilities are endless. BTW, you're welcome.
